Glitch Text Ideas

Signal lost works well with Light Static when you want the words to stay easy to read.

ACCESS DENIED fits Split Signal for cyberpunk interfaces, alerts, and game screens.

Do not read this suits Zalgo Stack for heavier horror and corrupted-message effects.

Choosing the Right Intensity

Low intensity adds a small amount of visual noise while keeping the phrase readable. Higher settings stack more marks around each letter for a stronger glitch effect.

Intensity 0 leaves the original text unchanged. Decimal values let you make smaller adjustments between whole-number settings.

Light Static, Split Signal, or Zalgo Stack?

Light Static

Best for a restrained glitch effect where names, captions, and short headings still need to be easy to read.

Split Signal

Adds stronger marks through the letters for broken-screen, transmission, cyberpunk, and interface-style text.

Zalgo Stack

Builds marks above, through, and below the letters for the most chaotic horror and corrupted-text appearance.

Glitch Text FAQ

How do I make glitch text?

Enter your wording, choose Light Static, Split Signal, or Zalgo Stack, then adjust Intensity until the result has the amount of distortion you want.

What happens at intensity 0?

The output matches your original text exactly. No glitch marks are added.

Do decimal intensity values work?

Yes. Decimal values affect the deterministic mark density, so you can make finer adjustments than whole numbers alone.

Will the same settings make the same glitch text?

Yes. The generator is deterministic, so the same wording, mode, and intensity reproduce the same result.

Why can glitch text overlap other lines?

The effect uses combining marks that can extend above and below normal letters. Dense settings may overlap or be clipped in apps with tight line spacing.

Can I use glitch text in usernames and bios?

Often, yes, but individual services may restrict or normalize decorative Unicode characters. If a field rejects the result, try a lighter effect or plain text.
